Health & Safety in Motor Vehicle Repair
Lee Cheng Motor Services and associated industries cover activities such as the maintenance and repair (including tyre, exhaust, windscreen etc replacement); body repair, refinishing and valeting; MOT testing; and the roadside recovery of motor vehicles. However, our main service involves mufler and exhaust modification. Whilst most of these activities are carried out at Lee Cheng garages and ‘Fast fit’ centres, they are also undertaken at customers’ premises, both commercial and domestic, and at the roadside.
The boundaries between the different types of outlet is becoming more and more blurred as enterprises take on a wider range of activities in an increasingly competitive market.

Overview
No one knows the exhaust business like Lee Cheng. We practically invented it! We understand how essential your exhaust system is to your car's performance.
Why do you need an exhaust system?
Your exhaust system maintains engine performance, reduces noise and harmful emissions through the use of the catalytic converter. A damaged or faulty exhaust system increases the amount of discharged pollutants that are harmful to the environment, reduces the engines operating efficiency and as a result increases fuel consumption.
What is a muffler?
If you've ever heard a car running without a muffler, you know what a huge difference a muffler makes to the noise level. Inside a muffler, you'll find a deceptively simple set of tubes with holes in them. These tubes and chambers are as finely tuned as a musical instrument. They are designed to reflect the sound waves produced by the engine in such a way that they partially cancel themselves out.
What is a resonator?
Some vehicles have a resonator, which in combination with the muffler further reduces the sound that is produced by your engine. It looks similar to a muffler and contains a specific volume of air and exact length for your vehicle to help cancel out certain frequencies of sound in the exhaust.
Lee Cheng Muffler, Brake & Wheel are the specialists in exhaust system replacement and offer a choice of quality replacement exhaust parts, both stainless steel and aluminum, that are designed to fit most foreign or domestic cars, SUV's or light trucks.
